80’s influences for Summer at Rio Fashion Week

Blue Man, Triya, Cia Maritima, Poko Pano and Lenny showed some of the most inspiring swim collections at the recent Rio Fashion Week. A few trends popped out with heavy 80s/90s influences: the Sky High Cut Leg, Mesh Cut-outs, and Mock Turtleneck and Scuba-look one pieces in 80’s palettes. I wonder if we will be seeing these trends stateside when the designers show at Miami Swim Week in July.
